"My challenge was building a brand new Fitness Center in a country club with no real sense of exactly what would work best. Tom and Steve from Beuerlein's Pro Fitness Equipment met with me, measured the space, and made preliminary suggestions as to equipment type. They provided a 3-D layout I was able to take to our Board of Directors for approval. Everyone was more comfortable with a visual image and I was able to demonstrate how the room would look and how all the equipment would fit.

Tom took the time to explain the differences between equipment styles and models and answered all the questions our members had. At the suggestion of Beuerlein's Pro Fitness, we chose the Cybex VR-1 line for the strength machines. The lighter weight stacks and smaller footprint allowed us to fit more equipment into our space. Upon completion of our Fitness Center, Beuerlein's Pro Fitness provided professional to orient our members to the facility and explain how to use the equipment.

When I began this project, many members felt the Fitness Center would not be utilized enough to justify the cost, believing that most people join a country club for golf. Since our Fitness Center has opened, our members have been thrilled with the results. In the month of August we had more than 876 individuals uses based on our sign in sheets!
